New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Invoking the story of Lord Rama and the tale behind the descent of the Ganges, Jawaharlal Nehru University Vice Chancellor (V-C) Jagadesh Kumar on Saturday offered leadership tips and lesson on positivity.
Addressing the National Leadership Summit on Positivity here on Saturday, the JNU VC said that one of the prerequisites of becoming an effective leader is to understand one's inner potential.
He said that once when Lord Rama was restless he went to his teacher Vasistha. On knocking the door, Vasishta asked who it was. "I have come here precisely to find the answer to this question. Who am I?, replied Lord Rama,". Kumar narrated the story to drive home the point that it was necessary to know one's strength and weakness to become a good leader.
