JKBOPEE accountant killed in road accident on Kashmir highway

Srinagar, May 15 (UNI) A Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) accountant was killed while another person was injured in a road accident on Srinagar-Jammu national highway on Wednesday.

An official spokesperson said that a vehicle met with an accident, while travelling from Jammu to Srinagar, at Qazigund in south Kashmir. Two people were injured in the incident, he said.

He said the injured, identified as Sanjay Kumar and Vinod Kumar, were immediately taken to a local hospital from where one of them identified as Sanjay Kumar, was referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Srinagar. However, he said Kumar was declared brought dead at the hospital.

He said JKBOPEE and Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) held separate condolence meetings at Srinagar on the demise of Kumar.

The condolence meeting held by BOPEE was chaired by its Chairman.
