Jammu, Dec 10 (UNI) Police on Tuesday slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) on a hardcore criminal and drug peddler in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Drug peddler, Parminder Singh alias Pammu of Tanal, Udhampur, has been booked and detained under PSA by District Police Udhampur.
Several FIRs (first information reports) including under NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act) cases were registered against him and his activities were detrimental for the peace and tranquility of the area, police said.
