Jipmer to conduct Marathon in Puducherry

Puducherry, Dec 13 (UNI) The JIPMER Resident Doctors Association along with its Faculty and Student Association will be conducting a five Km marathon event named "Microthon 2019" to its students, residents, faculty, employees on December 15 with a theme "A Run for Professional Health: Stand With Health Care Personnel" signifying the right to safe healthy working environment, one of the important human rights in work zone.
According to a Jipmer release on Friday, this is aimed at spreading awareness regarding the integrity among the various cadres of employees and employers at all levels for effective functioning of the society avoiding the unethical victimization by false complaints, slander, libel & defamatory extremes and its impact in society and need for curbing such activities and violence against any of the honest or egalitarian public servants which includes authorities, faculty, resident doctors, police and all employees in various firms.
The distance to run will be five to six kilometers.
