Ranchi, Dec 7 (UNI) An estimated 13.03 per cent of the 48.25 lakh voters exercised their franchise till 0900 hrs on Saturday in 20 seats of Jharkhand where polling is underway for the second of the five-phased Assembly elections.
In the first two hours, Behragora recorded the maximum turnout at 16.30 per cent while Kolibera was the lowest at 8.50 per cent.
Constituency wise voter turnout is as following: Behragora 16.30 per cent, Jamshedpur East 11.55 per cent, Jamshedpur West 11.09 per cent, Ghatshila 14.10 per cent, Potka 14.9 per cent, Chaibasa 14.46 per cent, Jugsalai 14.8 per cent, Manjhgaon 14.07 per cent, Jaggannathpur 12.90 per cent, Manoharpur 10.12 per cent, Chakardharpur 11.72 per cent, Sisai 12.50 per cent, Simdega 11.48 per cent, Kolebira 8.50 per cent, Torpa 10.77 per cent, Khunti 10.22 per cent, Mandar 14.82 per cent, Tamar 13.95 per cent, Saraikela 15.66 per cent and Kharsawan 13.44 per cent.
While polling on 18 out of the 20 seats will end at 1500 hrs, in Jamshedpur East and Jamshedpur West it will continue till 1700 hrs.
