Jharkhand HC extends provisional bail period for Lalu Yadav till July 3

Ranchi, Jun 22​ (UNI) ​ Jharkhand High Court today extended the provisional bail period of jailed former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav till July 3 and has fixed the next date of hearing in the case as June 29.

The lawyers of Mr Yadav had filed a​ ​petition before the high court in which they had urged that his provisional bail period be extended by another 6 months. Earlier on May 11 the high court had granted six weeks of provisional bail to Mr Yadav on medical ground.​ ​
