Jharkhand Congress demands Rs 50 lakh compensation for Pulwama martyr

Ranchi, Feb 16 (UNI) The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee has demanded the state government to give a compensation of Rs 50 lakh to the kin of Bijay Soreng who was martyred in the Pulwama attack.
Addressing a Press Conference here JPCC chief Dr Ajay Kumar said that the state government has announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh which should be increased to Rs 50 lakh and also asked the state government to ensure that the family of the martyr should not suffer from economic scarcity at any moment of their life.
He said that since this attack was result of a systematic failure an independent probe agency should be formed to look into these type cases and find solutions. He said time was not correct for political blame games as every MLA and MP was standing together with the country on the issue and asked people from across the parties not to make comments against the nation and said that it was a time when all should rally together to give a befitting reply to the terrorists.
