Jet Airways flight makes emergency landing as 30 passengers suffer bleeding

Mumbai, Sep 20 (UNI) As many as 30 passengers suffered bleeding and headache due to low air pressure inside the cabin of a Jaipur-bound Jet Airways flight on Thursday.
Following the incident, the aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport here.
The flight carrying 166 passengers took off around 0600 hrs in the morning but the crew forgot to select the switch to maintain cabin pressure which led to the situation, sources said.
The affected passengers were being attended by the doctors at the airport.
Meanwhile, taking cognisance of the incident, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has requested Directorate General of Civil Aviation to file its report immediately on the issue, the sources added.

Pune, April 25 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal(5.1°C or more) at many places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim; at isolated places over Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and Assam and Meghalaya; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Jharkhand; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and Kerala and Mahe; at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana. These were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Vidarbha and east Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.7°C was reported at Anantapur
(Rayalaseema) over the country.
