Jena criticises Modi for resorting to myopic politicking on Paradip refinery project

Bhubaneswar, Feb 8 (UNI) Former Union minister and senior Congress leader Srikant Jena today accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of misleading the people and resorting to myopic politicking while dedicating the 'Paradip Oil Refinery Project' yesterday.
In a statement here Mr.Jena said it was most unfortunate and saddening that Mr.Modi criticised the previous government's instead of providing leadership to the nation on the 'road ahead' as also unveiling his vision for future.
He said the Paradip Oil Refinery Project was conceptualised in the year 1992 by P V Narsimha Rao with six million ton capacity, which was later enhanced to nine million tons by the United Front government headed by Deve Gowda.
