Entertainment » OtherPosted at: May 31 2016 7:29PM JD (U) attacks BJP for nominating "tainted" person to Rajya SabhaPatna, May 31 (UNI) Soon after former state BJP chief Gopal Narayan Singh filed his nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha, ruling JD (U) today upped its ante against BJP for nominating Mr. Singh to the upperhouse of Parliament when a number of cases, including attempt to murder, were pending against him in Rohtas district. JD (U) spokesperson and MLC Sanjay Singh and spokesperson Ajay Alok told newspersons here that at least 28 cases had been lodged against Mr Singh in Rohtas district. They said an FIR had been lodged at Mufassil police station under various sections in Rohtas district in November 2011.
