Javedkar dubs Naveen Patnaik government as Chit fund government

Puri, Oct 6 (UNI) Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javedakar today
lambasted the Naveen Patnaik government dubbing it as “chit fund government”
Mr.Javedkar who is in charge of four parliamentary seats in Puri and Nayagarh districts
as part of BJP poll preparation for the 2019 told newsmen here that state government is a
chit fund government as many of its legislators were involved and arrested for their
involvement in the chit fund scam.Many more BJD legislators,he said might follow the line,
he remarked
The Union Minister also flayed the BJD government for not paying the small investors
cheated by the Chit Fund companies.
He said the government which had announced a corpus fund of Rs 350 crores to pay
the 75000 identified small investors cheated them as none of them till date got a single
rupee,.
The BJD government has become a government of contractors and PC is their prime
motive. “Contractors became MLAs and MLAs became contractors” he remarked.
The union minister alleged that in the name of preparing priority list of beneficiaries for
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana they have been allegedly collecting Rs 27,000 from each
beneficiary.
The officers and public representatives of BJD were looting funds from various schemes,
he added.
The Union Minister who interacted with the people in 1066 booths in Puri parliamentary constituency during his two day visit to the district claimed that the popularity of Naveen
Patnaik government nosedived
Chief Minister Naveen lost his credibility during long years of misrule, he said adding
that the people want to dislodge the BJD government and are in favour of BJP.
The BJP, Mr.Javedkar said might exceed its Mission 120 target fixed by Party president
Amit Shah in the 2019 Assembly election in the state .
The recent panchayat and zilla parishad poll had clearly indicated that the that BJP vote
percent has increased manifold even in coastal Odisha and the present political
environment is completely in favour of BJP, he added.
