Japan to work with US in search for WW2 remains

Tokyo, May 24 (UNI) Japan has agreed to cooperate with the United States in searching for and identifying remains of Japanese soldiers who died overseas during World War Two.
Japan's Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry signed a memorandum with the US Defence POW/MIA Accounting Agency last month to speed up the effort.
The two sides are to share information about sites where remains may exist, jointly collect them, and share genetic analysis skills for identification, said an NHK report on Friday.
