Japan Open: Srikanth, Prannoy, Sameer and Saina advace to second round

Tokyo, Sep 20 (UNI) Making a positive start to their campaign at the ongoing Japan Open, Indian shuttlers Saina Nehwal, Kidambi Srikanth, HS Prannoy, Sameer Verma won their respective matches to enter to the second round.
Eight seeded Srikanth, who had won the Indonesia and Australia Open, overcame China’s Tian Houwei 21-15 12-21 21-11 in the 64-minute long game.
