Japan likely to invest Rs 200 crore in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 7 (UNI) Japan is likely to invest Rs 200 crore in Kerala, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Saturday while responding to his two-nation visit to Japan and Korea.
An agreement was signed between Kerala and Toshiba for technology transfer and manufacture of Lithium Titanium oxide battery cooperating with public sector companies.
To a question on the recent arrest of two students over their Maoist links, he said Alan and Thaha were not CPM workers and they were arrested slapping UAPA for their connections with Maoists.
