Japan claims two titles on concluding day at Asian Table Tennis Championships

Astana, Oct 14 (UNI) Japan claimed the men's singles and women's doubles titles as the 27th Asian Table Tennis Championships.
Tomokazu Harimoto of Japan delivered an impressive performance in the men's singles final on Sunday, overcoming China's Lin Shidong 3-1 to secure the gold.
The women's doubles final featured an all-Japanese battle. Satsuki Odo and Sakura Yokoi rode on the momentum of overwhelming China's Chen Xingtong and Kuai Man in straight games in the semifinal earlier on Sunday to edge their compatriots Miwa Harimoto and Miyuu Kihara in five intense games.
