Jammu police attach property of man who duped people

Jammu, Jan 20 (UNI) In a significant breakthrough, Jammu Court on Monday attached property worth approximately Rs 2.22 crores under the BNSS Act in connection with a high-profile fraud case through Tehsildar Bahu.
The accused, Harpreet Singh, impersonated a Lieutenant Colonel of the Indian Army to deceive innocent individuals by promising them jobs in MES, MOD, and DRDO, said police.
Police added that on November 6, 2024, a complainant namely Arun Sharma, resident of Kandoli Nagrota, Tehsil Nagrota District Jammu lodged a written complaint with the allegations that accused Harpreet Singh of Chhani Dewano Pallanwala, Tehsil Khour, District Jamm,u
