Jammu Police arrests two drug peddlers with heroin

Jammu, Apr 16 (UNI) Jammu Police on Friday arrested two drug peddlers with contraband of heroin in Trikuta Nagar area here.
Police spokesman here said that a team of Police Station Bahu Fort led by Station House Officer Inspector Deepak Pathania during a duty at a checkpoint near JDA parking ground, Rail Head Complex rounded up two suspects and during frisking, 55 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession.
Both the drug peddlers identified as Irshad Ahmed and Tariq Ahmed, both residents of Damhal Hanjipura, Kulgam were arrested on the spot.
