Jammu, June 19 (UNI) Ahead of two-month-long Amarnath Yatra starting from June 28, Jammu Inspector General of Police S D Singh Jamwal on Tuesday reviewed the security scenario and asked all sister concerned agencies to maintain synergy.
Convening a meeting with Army, paramilitary officers, intelligence agencies and Jammu based police officers, Mr Jamwal directed them to maintain highest level of alertness and synergy among themselves and also to share the intelligence related to yatra on real time basis so that the nefarious designs of ANEs and their mentors across the IB, can be thwarted.
The IGP also stressed upon the officers to organise night patrolling on national highway regularly and maintain close cooperation with all forces deployed in their area of jurisdiction.
