Jammu activist submits memorandum to JU VC, asks to update syllabi

Jammu, Jun 18 (UNI) A social activist and former member of prominent citizen’s Advisory Committee constituted by the state government, Sukesh Khajuria on Monday has submitted a memorandum to the Vice Chancellor of University of Jammu Prof R D Sharma regarding discrepancies in the Examination Paper of Advanced Corporate Accounting course of B.Com Hons of Sixth semester Degree Examination held on May 3.
Mr Khajuria in a memorandum has said that the University of Jammu has a firm commitment to academic excellence and is updating its syllabi regularly to meet the market challenges adding, “through representation, I have brought the matter to the notice of the Vice Chancellor as it concerning future of youth of J&K”.
However, a copy of the representation has also been submitted to the Governor N N Vohra, who is also the Chancellor of University of Jammu, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, who is also the Pro-Chancellor, Union Human Resources Development Minister Mr Prakash Javadekar and Mr Imran Raza Ansari Minister for Higher Education, J&K.
