Jalandhar-Hissar Boys, Ludhiana-Bathinda girls shined in North India CBSE Handball Tournament

Kangra, Oct 6 (UNI) St Xavier School Hissar and DAV Police Public School Jalandhar Boys won the final of Under-17 and under 19 respectively in North India CBSE Handball Tournament which culminated here today.

In girls section Amrit Indo Academy Ludhiana won the final in under 17 category and St Xavier Bathinda Girls Won the Trophy in Under 19 category.

In the final Under- 17 Girls Amrit Indo Canadian academy School Beat Chaman Vatika Ambala by 22-11.
RMM DAV Bhatinda and BCM Ludhiana were second runner up.

St. Xavier School Bathinda Under-19 Girls category in final defeated MGN school Jalandhar by 13-08. and bagged the trophy.
Manav Sahyog Jalandhar and Gurunanak model Ludhiana were adjudged as second runner up jointly.

In the Boys, event Under-17 St Xavier Hissar beat Galaxy international Hissar by 19 – 10 and won the trophy while Galaxy International Hissar was the runner up school. Aryan Public School Lakhan Mazar Ludhiana.
Bagged the third position.

In the fourth event under-19 boys DAV Police Public School Jalandhar beat host G.A.V Public school Kangra by 25- 13 and snatched the final trophy. GAV Public school was the runner up.
Braham Rishi Public School Udhampur & Rishikul Panipat were jointly the second runner up.

In the Under -17 Boys category Best Player: was Manik From St. Xavier Hissar, best Scorer:- Kapil from Galaxy International Hissar and best Keeper: was Happy from St. Xavier Hissar In Under -19 Boys Best Player: was Vishal Choudhary from GAV Public school Kangra, best Scorer:- Jasmeet Singh and best Keeper:- Gurpreet both from DAV Police Public School Jullundur Sakshi from Chaman Vatika was best player in Under -17 Girls, Jasmeet Kaur was best scorer and Simran Jot as best keeper both of Amrit Indo Canadian Shagun Mahajan of GAV Public School Kangra was best player I under -19 Girls where as best scorer was Mehak and Vipan Jeet as best keeper both from St. Xavier Bhatinda.
