Jaitley steered contentious and tricky GST Bill: S M Krishna

Bengaluru, Aug 24 (UNI) Former External Minister and senior BJP leader S M Krishna paid rich tributes to former Union Minister Arun Jaitley, who passed away in Delhi today, terming him as strategist who took forward the tricky GST bill and matters relating to demonetisation with aplomb.
In his tribute to the departed BJP leader, Krishna said, ‘’In the demise of Arjun Jaitley the country has lost a brilliant politician who had exceptional leadership qualities’’.
He said, Jaitley was a leader with finesse, razor sharp articulation, mathematical precision and a master strategist. An affable character, Jaitley had mastered the art of articulating ideological and economic issues.
