New Delhi, Aug 25 (UNI) Condoling the demise of veteran BJP leader and strategist Arun Jaitley, Congress Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said former Union Minister's presence will be missed in Parliament.

In a letter to Ms Sangeeta Jaitley, the wife of former Finance Minister, Mr Gandhi said, 'I am deeply saddened by the demise of your husband Arun Jaitley ji. In an illustrious career spanning over four decades, he left his mark on politics.'

He said Jaitley's voice will no longer reverberate within the hallowed portal of Parliament, but his presence will be missed.

'Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you peace and strength during this difficult time,' Mr Gandhi added.
