Jaishankar meets Indian scholars, officials of top Israeli universities

Jerusalem/New Delhi, Oct 21 (UNI) External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Indian researchers and scholars in Israel and also held meetings with officials of top Israeli universities, including Tel Aviv University, Hebrew University and Ben-Gurion University, for expanding academic research and technology collaboration.
On meeting with the Indian researchers and scholars on Wednesday, in a tweet he said he appreciated their feedback on what India could do to expand exchanges with Israel.
“Very nice to meet Indian researchers and scholars in Israel.
“Appreciated their feedback on what we could do to expand our exchanges with Israel,” he posted.
On his meeting with the university presidents of several universities, he tweeted:
“Expanding our academic research and technology collaboration through meetings with University Presidents and senior leadership in Tel Aviv today.
"Included @TelAvivUni (Tel Aviv University), @HebrewU (Hebrew University),
@UHaifa (University of Haifa), @TechnionLive (Technion Israel), @bengurionu
(Ben-Gurion University of the Negev), @bar_ilan (Bar-Ilan University) universities and
@CheMalag (Israeli Council for Higher Education).
“Together our collaboration will drive the India-Israel partnership in the coming years,” he posted.
