J&K: Two pilots killed in Udhampur’s helicopter crash, Army commander express grief

Jammu, Sep 21 (UNI) Two pilots died on Tuesday after an army helicopter crashed in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Army spokesman said that a pilot and the co-pilot were seriously injured after an Army helicopter ‘Cheetah’ crashed in Shiv Garh area of Patnitop in Udhampur district.
“Both the pilot and the co-pilot of the Cheetah helicopter succumbed to their injuries at the army hospital,” he said.

Cong would have never solved temple issue: Maurya

Satna, MP, Oct 24 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said on Sunday that the Congress is shrinking and if that party had been in power at the Centre, then issues such as Ram temple construction in Ayodhya and abrogation of Article 370 would have remained unresolved and the National Commission for Backward Classes would not have been accorded the status of a constitutional body.
Mr Maurya was addressing a rally in support of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Pratima Bagri at Gulua Pawaiyya in Raigaon assembly constituency where a by-election is underway.

COVID: HP reports 2 deaths, 69 new cases

Hamirpur (HP), Oct 24 (UNI) Two people, one each from Kangra and Mandi districts lost their lives, and 69 new positive cases were detected in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday, a spokesman of the HP Health Department said on Sunday.
