J&K SPDC earns Rs 1058.79 crore on sale of power to PDD, PTC

Srinagar, Jun 20 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation (JKSPDC) has earned a revenue of Rs 1058.79 crore from sale of power generated by 22 power projects during the year 2015-16.
However, the revenue generated from the sale of power during the last financial year was less as compared to 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 when it was more than 1100 crores.
This information was given by the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, who also holds power portfolio in the coalition government in the state in the Legislative Council in reply to a question by Yasir Reshi.
