J&K records 11 more deaths due to COVID-19, death toll rises to 115

Srinagar, Jul 2 (UNI) The death toll due to COVID-19 rose to 115 in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir with 11 more people dying due to the virus since Wednesday evening, authorities said on Thursday.
With this, 79 people have lost their lives due to infection in 28 days, and 100 people in 44 day in J&K, where the number of COVID-19 positive cases in the UT has surpassed 7,800.
The COVID-19 positive patients who lost their lives since Wednesday evening include three people from Kulgam, which include a 65-year-old man from Baramulla, a 50-year-old woman from Kupwara, a 45-year-old man from Anantnag, a 54-year-old man from Jammu, two people from Srinagar, a 75-year-old man from Budgam and a 65-year-old man from Shopian.
