J&K polls: Grenade lobbed at residence of Panch contestant in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 24 (UNI) Unidentified persons on Saturday lobbed a grenade at the residence of a candidate, who has field nomination for Panch in the Panchayat elections, at Tral in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
Official sources said that the grenade, which missed the target, was lobbed at the residence of one Surinder Singh in village Devar at Tral.
“No one was injured in the attack,” they said.
