J&K police rescues girls lost in dense forest in south Kashmir

Srinagar, May 12 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police has rescued two girls, who were lost in a dense forest in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, a police spokesperson said here today.
They said Police Station Ashmuqam received information late yesterday evening that two girls, identified as Rubeena Poswal and Jabeena, had gone to Pandoobal Pulnad forest for grazing cattle and did not return home.
“Instantly various search parties, which included police personnel and locals, were constituted and an operation was launched to trace the whereabouts of the girls,” he said.
