J&K police launches helpline to assist tourists in south Kashmir

Srinagar, May 12 (UNI) Help for tourists visiting health resorts, including Pahalgam, in south Kashmir district of Anantnag is just a phone call away as the Jammu and Kashmir Police has launched a special helpline to assist domestic and foreigner travellers.
A police spokesperson here today said in its efforts to provide assistance to the tourists, the state police has established a helpline for non-local travelers at Police Station Mattan in Anantnag.
“The aim of establishing the helpline is to facilitate tourists visiting Pahalgam and other health resorts of the district,” he said, adding tourists, domestic or foreigner, can call on this helpline if they want to lodge any complaint.
