J&K Police launches crackdown on relatives, associates of native terrorists operating from Pak, OGWs

Jammu, Nov 9 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday launched a massive Cordon and Search Operation (CASOs) to trace out the suspicious activities of the relatives of the Jammu and Kashmir natives operating from Pakistan (JKNOPs) and Over Ground Workers (OGWs) in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The official spokesman stated that, continuing its efforts to strengthen the security grid and maintain peace in the district, the police conducted a CASO in a well-coordinated manner under the close supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, Arun Gupta, at multiple locations in Banihal and Gool.
The operations, he said, were aimed at tracing out the suspicious activities of the relatives of the Jammu and Kashmir natives operating from Pakistan (JKNOPs) and verifying antecedents of suspected individuals, and tightening security around vulnerable areas.
