J&K Police cop dies in hit-and-run case

Jammu, Nov 25 (UNI) An Assistant Sub-Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police died in a hit and run case here on city outskirts.
An ASI, identified as Kirpal Singh,54, resident of Digiana, died on the spot late on Saturday night when his motorbike was hit by an unidentified vehicle at Barnai near Domana, police here said.
They said that he was posted in District Police Lines, Jammu but returning from Jhiri Mela where he was posted on special duty.
