J&K LG re-appoints Prof Umesh Rai as JU VC for next 3 years

Jammu, Dec 13 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday re-appointed Prof Umesh Rai as Vice Chancellor of University of Jammu for a period of next three years.
As per the order issued, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in exercise of the powers vested in him, under Section 12 (5) of the Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act, 1969, has re-appointed Prof. Umesh Rai, as the ViceChancellor, University of Jammu, for a term of three years from April 5, 2025, the date of completion of his existing term as the Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu.
