J&K LA Speaker constitutes 3-member award committee

Srinagar, May 24 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Kavinder Gupta today constituted a three member award committee to select and confer Annual Awards for outstanding legislators for the year 2016.
“The committee includes forner Speaker Ali Mohammad Naik, former legislator Prof Chaman Lal Gupta and senior Journalist Sohail Quazmi,” an official spokesperson here tonight said.
He said according to a communication from Assembly Secretariat the Committee shall submit its report to the Speaker by or before middle of December 2016 so that awards are conferred by the end of the same month.
