J&K Govt tells Oppn leaders that visit to Valley will hit restoration of peace

Srinagar, Aug 23 (UNI) Close to the heels of opposition leaders visiting to the Kashmir Valley, Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday told them that their visit may disturb restoration of peace, an official statement said here.
''The visit by politicians would be in violation of restrictions that have been imposed in many areas of the Valley,'' the statement further said.
Opposition members including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is visiting on Saturday, to meet people of Kashmir where restrictions were imposed after the Centre has withdrawn the special status to the state.
