J$K Govt says no land allotted or transferred to Patanjali group

Jammu, Mar 24 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government today said no portion of the state land has been transferred or allotted to Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev-owned Patanjali group for setting up its unit in Samba district of this region.
"In my knowledge there is no such proposal of transferring or allotting any state land to Patanjali group," Shailendra Kumar, Commissioner Secretary Commerce and Industries, here told UNI.

Mr Kumar said any group intending to set up a plant has to first submit a Detailed Project Report (DPR), adding that Patanjali group has not submitted it.

"So far, no allotment has been made to the group for setting up the unit," said the Bureaucrat.
