J&K: First time since independence, remote village in Doda gets road connectivity

Jammu, Nov 11 (UNI) First time since independence, a remote village in mountainous Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir got road connectivity.
Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh, who is a sitting Member of the Kathua-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency posted on X, “Under PM @NarendraModi, remote #Doda villages are getting road connectivity for the first time since independence.”
“New #NHIDCL & such other projects connect hilly Marmat belt, including my native village #Kalota, where our forefathers never got to see a motor vehicle in their lifetime,” Dr Singh further posted.
