J&K: CM for NeVA operationalisation before upcoming budget session of Assembly

Jammu, Dec 10 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday directed officials to liaise with the Ministry of Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, to ensure NeVA is operationalized before the upcoming budget session of J&K Legislative Assembly.
Chairing a review meeting of the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs here at the Civil
Secretariat, Abdullah also discussed other components that included the classification of laws, appointment of officers in-charge of litigations, opinion and vetting of notifications, and the department’s achievements in 2023-24.
