IUST, other educational institutions postpone exam, on-line classes in Pulwama

Srinagar, Sep 28 (UNI) The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) and other educational institutions postponed examinations and on-line classes of students due to suspension of mobile internet service in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, where security forces resumed Cordon and Search Operation (CASO).
Two Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militants were killed and a soldier was injured in the encounter which ensued on Sunday evening during a CASO.
Official sources said that mobile internet service of all Cellular companies, including Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSN) was suspended last evening as a precautionary measure to prevent rumours. However, suspension of mobile internet students and doctors and other professionals were worst hit.
