Itkhori CDPO caught taking bribe by ACB in Chatra

Chatra, Sep 10 (UNI) A team of the Anti Corruption Bureau of Hazaribagh today arrested the Child Development and Planning Officer (CDPO) of Itkhori while she was taking a bribe of Rs 3,100 from her office located at the Itkhori block headquarters.
DSP Rahul Dev Badaik of the ACB said that the arrested CDPO Nilam Bala was caught red handed while she was taking the bribe from a sevika of Mayurhand block for approving the funds for nutritious food. The sevika Anita Devi of Teli Tola under Mayurhand block had registered a complaint with the ACB accusing that the CDPO was demanding the bribe.
Post the verification of the complaint, a trap was laid and the lady officer was caught red handed while accepting the bribe. Later the officer was taken by the ACB to Hazaribagh.
