Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, Dec 4 (UNI) In a bloodcurdling incident of fratricidal firing, gunfire rang out early Wednesday at the Indo-Tibetan Border Police’s Kadenar camp – in this insurgency-ravaged district – as a constable discharged a weapon instantly killing five personnel and himself.
Two critically-injured jawans were rushed to a nearby infirmary where preparations were underway to convey them to Raipur.
Confirming the ghastly development, Inspector General (Bastar Range) P Sundrraj said, “A dispute sparked off the incident.”
