IT Raids: Ex-K'taka Dy CM appears before IT officials, seeks 3-day time to submit documents

Bengaluru, Oct 15(UNI) Former Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Dr G Parameshwara on Tuesday appeared before Income Tax Department officials and sought three days time to submit documents asked by the IT department.

Speaking to media persons after being questioned for an hour, he said that the IT officials who had recovered certain documents during the three day raid on his residence and Educational institutions including Medical College and Hospital recently, need time complete verification process, hence, he asked three days’ time and will appear for further questioning if summoned.

The IT officials also conducted raid on residence and premises of former Lok Sabha member and Congress leader R L Jalappa’s institutions recently at Doddabalapur and Kolar.
