Ahmedabad, Oct 15 (UNI) Large amount of cash and other expensive items along with documents have been seized during raids by the Income Tax department teams at residences,official premises and farm houses of various businessmen related with realty and textile sectors in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.
According to official sources the raid has been conducted at over 12 places in and around the city.
Cash worth over Rs 5 crore, documents pertaining to over a dozen lockers and other documents pertaining to illegal transactions etc have reportedly been seized during the raids that started from 630 am this morning and was going on even after 12 hrs.
