It is about taking everyone along in your success, says 13-yr old Ananya

New Delhi, Sep 6 (UNI) It is not just about scoring a goal, but it is about taking everyone together in our success, says the 13-year-old girl Ananya Kamboj who has been chosen as a Good Will Ambassador of BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) .
Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa(BRICS) CCI felicitated Ananya Kamboj at the Embassy of Russian Federation here and during the event, she launched her book, an anthology of 21 stories 'My Journey from Mohali to St. Petersburg' about her experiences.
Ananya read out a chapter from her book 'cherish the victories together with a message: ''It is not just about scoring the goal, but it is about taking everyone together in our success''.
The young girl was selected by Mission XI milion, an initiative spearheaded by FIFA and All India Football Federation and supported by Government of India, in 2017 and represented India as a young journalist at the Global Football for friendship programme in St Petersburg Russia.
This year, she was again invited to Moscow as a young ambassador for Football for Friendship.
Russian Ambassador Nikolay Kudashev, BRICS CCI Vice-Chairman Ashok Singh, BRICS CCI Director General Dr BBL Madhukar and Deputy Director Ankita Sachdev were among those present on the occasion.
Ananya, who hails fron Chandigarh, was presented with a BRICS Jersey and certificate.
Mr Ashok Singh said, "it was a great pleasure to have Ananya with us. She has got an international publication for her book.She will inspire a lot'' and credited her family who encouraged her to write a book to inspire others.
Students, including Russian national, were present during the event.
The Ambassador was presented with memento, clay portrait of Lord Ganesha and other souvenirs by the Indian school children.
Mr Kudashev extended his gratitude to the children for this warm gesture and hoped these children would take the Indo-Russia relationship to new heights.
Being asked what message would you give to other parents, Ananya's father Vikram Kamboj, also present on the occasion, told UNI that every parent should give a good platform to their child so that they can grow, however, children on their part should work hard to achieve their dreams.
