Chennai, Oct 23 (UNI) Isuzu Motors India, a subsidiary of Isuzu Motors

Limited, Japan, on Tuesday launched its new ISUZU mu-X, 7-seater, full

size, premium SUV marking the inauguration of a new lifestyle showroom

of KUN ISUZU in the city.

The new mu-X projects a more aggressive stance with its ‘Eagle-inspired’

styling and refreshed design at the front and rear of the SUV.

The refreshed model of the mu-X now comes with sportier ‘Lava Black’

premium interior upholstery and fine quilted leather seats, making it

more desirable in the 7-seater, full-size, premium SUV segment in India.

The SUV was now packed with more features on the exterior and interiors

with enhanced safety features including six airbags and Hill Descent

Control (HDC), addressing the needs of the modern Indian families.

Speaking to reporters, Isuzu Motors Liimited President Masanori Katayama

said “India is one of the key growth markets for ISUZU and we have made

significant progress since we began our operations in 2012.'

'Our products have been very well accepted by the Indian market for its

world class quality, durability and reliability. ISUZU is in the midst

of creating a new lifestyle in India with these globally proven vehicles',

he said.

He said the India-made range of D-MAX and mu-X SUV vehicles would

strengthen and add fillip to the export operations, besides playing an

important role, contributing to the future growth of ISUZU.

Former South African cricketer and Isuzu lifestyle brand ambassador

Jhonty Rhodes, who was also present, said he was extremely happy

to be back in India and glad to be a part of ISUZU’s journey.

'Since my association with the brand in August, I have had the opportunity

to travel in ISUZU vehicles across the country', he said.

Built on the versatile D-MAX Pick-up platform, the SUV has more to offer to

travel enthusiasts, he added.
