Jerusalem, Apr 18 (UNI) President of Israel Reuven Rivlin has invited Benjamin Netanyahu, the current prime minister and officialy tasked him with forming Israel’s next government.
Rivlin met with Netanyahu at the president’s residence in Jerusalem hours after receiving the official results of last week’s national elections.
Party leaders representing 65 of the 120 lawmakers in the new Knesset on Wednesday recommended Netanyahu to form the new government.
