Israel, Hamas unwilling to continue hostage release talks

Gaza, Dec 3 (UNI) Israel and Hamas do not want to return to negotiations to release hostages, US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said on Sunday, putting the blame for the failed talks on the Palestinian movement.
"For right now, neither side is willing to come back to the table. And I think it's important to remember ... how this fell apart. It fell apart because Hamas was unwilling and refused to come up with additional lists of women and children, which we know they are holding," Kirby told the ABC broadcaster.
The United States has been relentless in its efforts to get discussions on humanitarian pauses back on track, Kirby said.
