Irregularities in improvement and strengthening of road in Tripura’s district

Udaipur, Jun 4 (UNI) Irregularities are being observed in case of construction Iwork which entitled ‘Improvement and strengthening of road from Hatimura to Rajkang including geometric correction (Length=17.225 km) under Central Road Fund (CRF) Scheme in the State of Tripura’.
The irregularities are being mentioned by a section of engineers of the state that the order issued by the Office of the Executive Engineer, Udaipur Division, PWD (R&B) which bearing number 69/CE/PWD(NH)/EE/UDP-DIVN/UDP/R/2017-19 and ordered to Debasish Das, Contractor, Joynagar Middle Road, Joynagar, Agartala, West Tripura to start the work in consultation with the SDO (PWD), Sub-Division No.1, Udaipur, Gomati District, Tripura. The time of completion for the work was given twenty four months to the contractor.
However the work is still going on till the date. The road Hatimura to Rajkang is very important for the people of Amarpur area and it is the life line for the people of Amarpur Sub-Division area. Though the time for completion of the work was given twenty four months to the contractor but the work is still incomplete. The work has to be completed as early as possible, demanded by the people of Amarpur area.
