Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Oct 24 2016 9:07AM IRB jawan injured in blast ahead of CM visit at UkhrulImphal, Oct 24 (UNI) A jawan of Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) was injured in a bomb blast at around 0030 hrs today at Ukhrul, police said. Two persons suspected to be militants came and hurled two hand grenades at Hungdung, Ukhrul. The jawan sustained injuries on his leg and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident comes on the day when the Chief Minister of the state O Ibobi Singh is supposed to inaugurate three projects at the area namely District Hospital, 33/11, Sub-Station Electric at Khunjao and 32/11 Sub- Station Electric at Hungdung. .
