Irate villagers lynch thief in Giridih, 3 others beaten

Giridih, Jun 19 (UNI) A thief was lynched by irate villagers in Budhudih village under Ahilyapur Police Station area of this district while three others were also injured due to beating of the villagers.
Upon receiving information, a police team reached on the spot and took the injured to the hospital where condition of one was stated to be critical. Police said that the deceased has been identified as Mohammed Salim a resident of Tisri Police Station area while the injured included Mohammed Israil, Pokhar Mahto and Sanjay Yadav.
Police said that the thieves in the wee hours of the day had got inside a garment shop to commit theft but were spotted by villagers who cornered them and thrashed them in which one of them died.
