Panaji, Nov 28 (UNI) Iranian filmmaker Reza Mirkarimi's 'Daughter' won the prestigious Golden Peacock award in the Best Film category in a gala ceremony of 47th International Film Festival of India which concluded today. 'Daughter' is a family drama set in Southern Iran that tells the story of a young girl who leaves her hometown for a half-day trip to Tehran without permission of her strict father to attend a close friend's farewell party. On her way back weather changes all she had planned. 'Daughter' had also won the best film award in Moscow International Film Festival earlier this year. UNI AKM SS PY SNU RAI1949
